WHY DID YOU COME TO WORK FOR SUNRIVER REALTY?
When I got started in real estate almost 20 years ago, my goal was to be associated with the longest established and most successful real estate company in Sunriver. So many years ago, the competition to work at Sunriver Realty was tough as all of its brokers were professional, full-time and very hard working.
WHAT DO YOU LOVE MOST ABOUT YOUR JOB?
The financial reward, of course! But in addition to the income, I love the people I meet. You get to know your buyers and sellers very well during a transaction and many of these professional associations develop into lasting friendships.
WHAT ARE SOME OF YOUR AREAS OF EXPERTISE?
I really enjoy vacation home and resort buyers because these are such happy and exciting transactions. However, my experience spans all of Central Oregon and all types of buyers and sellers. I have had extensive experience and success with luxury home buyers and sellers.
HOW DO YOU ENJOY CENTRAL OREGON?
Central Oregon provides a wonderful backdrop for my hobby of photographing its abundant wildlife! The healthy and recreation-oriented life-style here attracts a wonderful mix of happy neighbors. My husband Dave (also a broker) and I enjoy camping, fishing, walking and golfing at the many scenic courses.
ANY VALUABLE REAL ESTATE LESSONS?
Over the years, I have learned that a real estate transaction is very personal for buyers and sellers and it can be very stressful for them. My experience has taught me that my clients and customers need to be treated with patience, understanding and respect and that their real estate investment needs to be handled with the utmost in care. Probably the single most important thing I have learned is to "listen!"
