What do you love about your job?
There are so many things. I have been active in the industry for over 25 years and every new client brings something special. The process of the transaction is always changing as do market trends and architectural designs. Knowing that in the end, I have helped someone achieve their goal is a great feeling.
What are some of your areas of industry expertise or preference?
I truly enjoy working with resort properties and for many; all of Central Oregon is a resort. You might find a great home on the river or a golf course or a cute little fixer in Bend or Redmond. Assisting clients relocating to or from Central Oregon is exciting. Not only do I love letting people know about the great aspects of living here, but I am also able to help them if they are moving out of the area by utilizing some excellent referral sources.
How do you enjoy Central Oregon?
There are so many activities here. My husband and I enjoy meeting with friends and trying out the great restaurants around town. There is also music, art galleries, shopping and, of course, golf. Sometimes we just have our adventure days.
What's a valuable lesson you learned (in real estate)?
1. Have a great network of trusted professionals to whom you can refer those who were referred to you. Clients rely on me mainly for their real estate needs. They also know that if they need another business or service, I have a contact or know someone who does.
2. Create an environment where clients are able to make informed decisions and help them bring their concepts to realty using effective systems, consistent communication, and attention to detail.
