Why did you come to work for Sunriver Realty?
The opportunity of working with a high quality company appealed to me. I knew and respected several of the brokers working there so I felt it would be a good fit for me.
What do you love about your job?
The people and the opportunities. Real estate constantly changes with the differences in personalities and the challenge/opportunity of keeping abreast of changes in the industry. I am never bored, constantly learning and growing. My life is enriched by the many people I meet along the way.
What are some of your areas of industry expertise or preference?
New construction is my first love. It offers its own set of challenges and rewards My second love is working with brokers as a managing Principal Broker. The opportunity to be a part of someone’s professional and personal growth inspires me to continue growing in my career. Learning and sharing completes the circle and everyone benefits including our clients.
How do you enjoy Central Oregon?
I love the sunshine, the clean air, the casual lifestyle. We have everything for outdoor recreation within easy reach and great cultural amenities as well. After work, I can canoe on Sparks lake or walk along the Deschutes River for an hour and feel the weight of the day slip away.
What's a valuable lesson you learned (in real estate)?
What I believe I can do, I can do. I make it happen; no one else controls the success of my career or my life.
