Why did you come to work for Sunriver Realty?
After almost 30 years as an emergency room and hospice nurse, I turned my energies to real estate. I came to Sunriver Realty to team up with my husband, Marcus, as the selling ‘Team Schwing’. We live here in Sunriver because we think it’s a very special place, and have been involved in Sunriver business and events for almost 20 years. Sunriver Realty offers the most professional and experienced brokers and staff in the business, and we’re proud to be part of Sunriver Realty.

What do you love about your job?
I love meeting and talking with people about the Sunriver area and all that Central Oregon has to offer. It’s very satisfying to find the perfect home for our clients and help them through the home buying or selling process.

What are some of your areas of industry expertise or preference?
Residential sales in Sunriver, Caldera Springs, and surrounding area is our area of expertise. We also lived in Bend for a number of years so are familiar with the Bend area market.

How do you enjoy Central Oregon?
There’s so much to do here! Sunriver has 26 outstanding outdoor tennis courts and a wonderful community of tennis players with whom I’m very active. I also enjoy hiking the Deschutes National Forest trails with our dogs, and when time permits, I try to ‘hit ‘em straight’ on the links.

What’s a valuable lesson you learned (in real estate)?
Real estate is not a lot different than nursing---take really good care of the client and the outcome will be good!
